Campaign branding
Overview:
'Their Future is in Your Hands' is a campaign idea for a UK leading engineering and services business, which required branding for internal communications across the company. The aim of this campaign was to educate, engage and excite employees about the sustainability initiatives that they were working to achieve.
The key campaign message was, our planet’s future is in question, and if we don’t act now, it’s the next generation that will bear the burden. By making tiny changes where it counts, from recycling to saving energy and beyond, small sustainable steps now can make an almighty difference to the lives we care about.

In response to this, the campaign required a designed look and feel that portrays this message, heavily focusing on the next generation element of communication. The design needed to work across a range of both print and digital deliverables for the internal company campaign.

The Styling
​
This campaign is all about sustainability and creating a better world for future generations to grow up in, therefore doing good for planet Earth is one of the key messages. The circle shape is used to represent Earth. Also a circle represents wholeness and a sense of completion. The quarter pieces of the circle placed together represent people, and their actions being part of making the circle whole. This relates to the message; everyone has a part to play in helping protect our planet.

These shapes were adapted to work within the different design executions as seen in the below examples.

The Colour palette

The colour palette follows the Earth theme and its properties:
Green = plants and nature
Yellow = sun and light
Orange = soil and ground
The bright shades promote a positive message and will stand out against other company communications. Also any photography used will compliment this colour theme.

MERCHANDISE
​
As well as the poster and website communications seen above, branded reuseable water bottles were introduced to eliminate the use of single use plastic bottles around the office and in employees home life. These link to the relevant campaign message of employees becoming more mindful of future generations and sustainable.
The metal bottles featured the campaign branding pattern, in a variety of colour ways and the strapline ‘their future is in your hands’.
